We provide a full suite of Construction and construction related services, of which addresses a variety of Industrial, Commercial & Residential building needs. Founded in 1997 by Mr. Dwayne R. Ferdinand, the company has since expanded phenomenally to address the growing needs of the national & global economy.

STATUS QUO

From a turnover point of view HDEA seems to be achieving the purpose if its existence, with its phenomenal growth both in terms of turnover and expansion of assets it is a success story, or is it? This may be a case where the high turnover is masking inefficiencies that exist within the organisation. The company has been acquiring jobs with some regularity, more in the private sector and many refills. In many cases HDEA is in a small list of selected persons to tender for job. This status has been achieved because if the quality of its outputs and the name it has developed amongst the professionals (Consultants & Architects ) in the construction industry. There is a perception in the Berbice area that HDEA is an "expensive" company if you are a client, this could be looked at from the perspective that quality work don't come cheap.

The company has expanded rapidly introducing value added processes along the way to its suite of services. The fleet of equipment has increased to the point where Equipment rental without disrupting construction activity can be a major income earner. The ability to procedure and place its own ready mix concrete has boosted the capillaries of HDEA. In a part of the country where there is no supplier of ready mix concrete this might be an opportunity going a begging to expand and solidify its presence in the Bernice construction landscape.
